I used to hate the five star rating system as I can usually find something to like in a book. This being said I have now found a use for the system and will be using it.
One Star: Also known as Why was this even published! I can not find anything good to say about the read. I would not recommend it to anyone, and I may not have even finished the book.
Two Star: Also known as I forced myself to finish. A bit more promise than a one star, had something but lacked so much more. I would not recommend it unless it was rewritten with lots of changes.
Three Star: Also known as the It was alright. I had no problem finishing the book, but there was nothing truly memorable about it. I am neutral in my feelings about it.
Four Star: A great read! It needs no also known as because I just enjoyed this book! The only think keeping it from a five is that I am not sure I will be reading it ever again.
Five Star: A book I will be reading again and again! Favorite titles include LOTR trilogy, the Harry Potter series, Jane Austen classics, books that I love so much I have to read them again.
