For thirty- five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime.
The opportunity to be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in a palace and compere for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon.
But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back of her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her, and leaving her home to enter a fierce competition for a crown she doesn't want.
Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she begins to realize that the life she;s always dreamed of may nor compete to a future she never imagined.
My Thoughts: Oh my lord! I need to grab myself a copy of The Elite ASAP! I had to stop myself from reading the preview in the back of the book because I would cry not knowing what was next! I honestly fell in love with America, I mean you could not ask for a better girl to follow through this. I have to say I am team Maxon, (Sorry Aspen), but who knows. I can sometimes change my mind. I am seriously bummed I don't have the Elite right now.
I just want to mention how beautifully Kiera Cass has written this book. It moves quickly, but with beautiful imagery, honest characters that could truly exist, and with an amazing plot idea that keeps me interested. I am so saddened that it took me so long to jump on the Selection train, but I am here now and so excited to read the next one!
I guess this is less of a review because everyone has read it, but if you haven't, Read It!
