Top Ten Books Read in 2013!
Lets get on with it! Sadly I only have seven, school took up most of the year so I wasn't able to read. But now I can!
Letters from Skye by Jessica Brockmole
Though it doesn't hit shelves until next month, I loved reading my ARC from a goodreads giveaway. It was an amazing book to start off my summer reading, and a great start to this blog! I hope everyone goes out and grabs a copy when it hits shelves!
The Benefits of Line Dancing by Edward Shull
I was so excited when the author asked to send me a copy of this beautiful book. Filled with interesting characters that you can't help but adore I loved this book so much! If you like character driven stories this is an amazing read.
The Selection by Kiera Cass
Everyone had read it and now so have I. Holy crap this was so good! I can't wait to get my hands on the next one! (Sadly I am a poor college student so I have to wait for the library copy to be returned.) If you haven't read it you are missing out.
Astor Place Vintage by Stephanie Lehmann
Another goodreads win that I loved. With history, mystery and vintage fashion this book was a great read with some substance. It came out this month so you should grab a copy!
Forevermore by Cindy Miles
A hot teenage ghost haunting an old Scottish castle... um Duh!
I read this so quickly and loved the mysticism in the Scottish folklore.
The Truth About Letting Go by Leigh T. Moore
It is hard to come by good grief book, and even more so for younger readers. This is an amazing book dealing with the grief of loosing a parent, but also includes two very different and sexy guys.
I am loving this book. I love the song so I was so excited to nab a copy through netgalley. I am loving this book!
So what are your top ten? (Yea, again sadly only seven for me.)
Been wanting to read the Cass novel for a while. Great list!
ReplyDeleteIt does not help that I have an addiction to "pretty" books and the series looks gorgeous.
